How it works

From what you already know to a story a buyer can check.

Three stages on one foundation. Nothing is thrown away between them: the record you start in the first week is the same record that answers a buyer in the second year.

Nothing here begins with a blank form. The first stage is about what is already in the notebook.

01 · Capture

Bring in what you already have

The notebook, the photographs, the voice note from the workshop, the certificate in a drawer. Materials, makers, batches and handwritten records land in one place, and none of it has to arrive complete.

  1. Start from the records you hold

Product and material records, batch notes, and the documents you already keep. A spreadsheet or a technical pack can be read in whole, and what comes out lands as a draft for you to approve.

  2. Speak it or photograph it

A voice note from the workshop and a photograph of a dye bath are how upstream data actually exists. Both are capture routes inside the app, and both land as a draft, never as a published claim.

  3. Name the people, with consent

Makers, koperasi and production units hold their own records with their own scope of permission. A name reaches a public page only through an attestation your brand records, and it leaves within a day if that attestation is withdrawn.

02 · Structure

Make the evidence checkable

The same record, given the shape a buyer, a framework, or a customer in a shop can read. Evidence tiers, consent scope, component provenance, and versioned methods.

  1. Every claim carries its evidence tier

A certificate, a batch record, a photograph, or your own statement. The tier renders beside the claim and never reduces the figure behind it: the number measures the practice, not the paperwork.

  2. Gaps stay visible on purpose

Data you do not have is left empty rather than filled with a default. Each figure carries the line that says what it was computed from, so a reader sees what is documented and what is still being worked out.

  3. Methods carry versions

Every computed figure is stamped with the factor version that produced it, and the method sits one tap away. The arithmetic comes from a rules engine, never from a language model.

03 · Activate

Publish, print, and keep it alive

A public page for the piece, a QR that goes on the tag, and the packs and reports that answer whoever asks next.

  1. Publishing is always a deliberate act

Bulk imports and the grid editor land as drafts. Nothing you upload publishes itself, and the display choice for each figure is made against your real numbers before the first publish.

  2. One address, printed once

A passport keeps its address for the life of the piece. It survives a lapsed subscription, a return, and a change of plan, so a tag printed this season still resolves years from now.

  3. The story keeps growing after the tag is printed

Care notes, repairs and the route back can be added later. A reader sees the current version at the address they already hold, and no one has to reprint anything.

One foundation

Wherever you enter, nothing is rebuilt from zero.

The four doors run on the same records. A brand that starts with a passport and later wants a buyer pack does not re-enter its materials, and a brand that starts with the numbers already holds most of what a passport needs.

  • Product and component records, down to the fibre percentage
  • Maker records with their own scope of permission
  • Evidence, held as its own object with its own tier
  • Factors with a version stamped on every figure

What the three stages do not do

  • Mula prepares a record. It does not certify anything, does not assess anyone, and cannot say what an assessor will decide.

  • A readiness score describes how well documented a passport is today. It renders as a sentence with a next action, never as a bare number.

  • Assisted extraction never fills a claim field, a recycled percentage, a certificate reference, or a maker attribution, and never switches a badge on. Low confidence renders as not yet mapped, never as a marked guess.

The foundation is the same at every size.

Five products or five hundred, the three stages are the same three stages. What changes is how much of it you do at once.
