Boilerplate, approved quotes, usage guidance, and the things that should not be said about this platform. Updated 17 August 2026
Boilerplate, one paragraph
Mula is an Indonesian digital product passport platform for textiles and fashion. It treats the participatory, incremental evidence of micro makers and cooperatives as first-class data, not as a shortfall to be excused.
Most existing platforms were built for large brands and Tier 1 mills. Mula works the rest of the value chain those platforms cannot reach at scale, without displacing them. Global South Native Metrics measure the operational integrity that is already there: human labour, small-scale water practice, and collective structure, rather than compliance that only capital can buy.
Boilerplate, one sentence
Mula is an Indonesian digital product passport platform for textiles and fashion that treats a maker's own records as first-class evidence.
21 wordsA relationship we declare ourselves
Nara's founder, Farah Savitri, came to Mula from marketing and business strategy inside the Indonesian fashion house that now holds the founding pilot account. We call that arrangement a collaboration and Mula's first home, and we say so before anyone has to ask.
The reason is plain: an operator relationship someone else discovers reads differently from one that is declared. The commercial terms of that account are not stated publicly and are not part of press materials. The partner is named on the campaign page for that collaboration and nowhere else.
Three approved quotes
The data European buyers ask for already exists in Indonesia. It is simply in a shape their systems cannot read: a cooperative receipt, a handwritten ledger, a weaver's memory.
A producer doing the right thing without capital scores zero on almost every Northern metric. That is the measurement we set out to restore.
We do not promise compliance. We prepare evidence and name its tier for what it is: certified, documented, or self-declared.
These three may be used as they stand, without asking again. A quote outside this list needs confirming through the contact below, because a sentence about compliance carries legal risk for the brand that prints it.

Mula prepares the data and documentation ESPR asks for. Compliance remains the responsibility of the economic operator.

Desk research in August 2026 found no other Indonesian software platform building digital product passports for textiles and fashion. A dated evidence file is available on request.
Mula prepares data. Mula does not certify compliance. The duty to substantiate sits with the economic operator placing the product on the market, and never moves to the platform.
Asset pack
The mark is never placed over a photograph without a solid plate, never recoloured, and its stem depths are never evened out. Lockups, icon sizes, and full construction guidance are available on request while the type is still being settled. High-resolution logos and approved product imagery can be requested through the press contact above.
