What the pack contains
The brand generates it per product line or collection, and regenerates it whenever the underlying data changes.
Structured product data
Composition to the fibre percentage, batch recycled content with the evidence behind it, weight, and care instructions.
Certificate copies with validity
Certificate name, issuer, scope, and validity window, including the dates a public passport never prints.
Field coverage summary
Which regulated data fields are covered and which are still open, mapped to the framework in force. An open field is listed as open.
Supply route summary
The tier one route at the disclosure level each party attested to: places and roles, named at region level, never flags.
Economic operator block
The brand legal entity, plus the EU authorised representative or importer on record.
The passport address per product
The permanent address of the live consumer passport, so your team reads the same page the end customer reads. The pack carries the address, never a copy of the page.
Every document in the pack is bilingual, Bahasa Indonesia and English, rendered from the same source data.
What this is, and what it is not
Sourcing decisions get worse when a supplier overstates. These limits are printed on the pack itself, not buried.
Estimates are labelled as estimates
Impact figures are computed by a rule based engine from a sourced factor library, and every figure carries its factor version and where its data came from. Third party critical review is what makes a result verified, and these are not that.
No compliance guarantee
The pack is evidence you can audit, not a certificate of conformity. Mula is not a certifier and is not affiliated with any certification scheme, and a readiness tool measures readiness, never certification. Your own assessment still applies.
A gap is printed as a gap
Where data is missing the field stays empty, and the pack states the coverage a figure rests on, for example three of eight components. Nothing is filled with a default value or a zero.
Evidence labels a value, it never discounts one
Claims are grouped by how they are evidenced, never scored by it, and a documented practice counts in full. Material grades read material properties and processes, so an uncertified smallholder dye grades as well as its material deserves.
Consent limits what can be disclosed
Names and stories of makers appear only within the scope the brand attested and the person granted, and a withdrawal takes effect on the public passport within a day. The restricted supply route view is shared with a named buyer only. No maker under eighteen is ever named, in any view or any export.
How it works for you
From request to structured data in one exchange
- You ask your supplier for their Export-Ready Pack, or simply for their passport address.
- The brand generates it from data already in the system. Nothing is retyped for you, and publishing anything stays a deliberate act by the brand.
- You receive a document for the sourcing conversation and a structured export for your systems.
- Every figure carries its factor version and its provenance, so your team can re check the arithmetic independently.
Who is responsible for what
- The brand is the economic operator and answers for the accuracy of its data.
- Mula records, versions, and renders that data, and makes no claim of its own.
- For the EU market, a brand outside the EU works through an importer or authorised representative who carries legal responsibility there.
Under ESPR Article 27 the economic operator is responsible for every data point. Mula is the infrastructure that records and renders it, never the party that vouches for it.
Working with an Indonesian supplier already?
Ask them for their passport address. If they are on Mula, the pack comes from records they already keep, so there is no new questionnaire for anyone to fill in.
