Not exactly. Reporting is one use of Mula. The platform is built around the evidence underneath the report and the decisions that evidence can support.

Environmental metrics sit beside Inclusive Metrics, supplier and product information, evidence quality, readiness, and business context.

Mula currently focuses on Fashion & Textiles and Beauty & Personal Care.

We would rather build strong industry models than pretend every product category needs the same fields, evidence, and methods.

Mula Trace for Shopify is being built as a self-service connection to Mula product records and passports. It is in development and not available to install yet. Scoped support and professional reports are separate services.

Traceability connects a product to records about its materials or ingredients, suppliers, production and origin. Transparency is the deliberate sharing of information from those records. A business can keep operational records private while choosing which supported facts to make public.

The value chain connects the materials or ingredients, suppliers, makers, manufacturing, packaging, product use and end-of-life information relevant to a product. Mula connects the records a business has; coverage depends on the product, available evidence and agreed scope. A missing supplier or production stage remains a gap.

We bring environmental performance, Inclusive Metrics, evidence quality, business context, and next actions together so the report is useful for management as well as communication.

Inclusive Metrics help a business understand forms of value that environmental reporting does not measure, such as people, suppliers, communities, local value, skills, participation, and other context-specific indicators.

They remain distinct from environmental metrics rather than being blended into one sustainability score.

Mula supports scoped environmental calculations using defined methods and recorded inputs.

The exact result depends on the method, data, and boundary. Missing stages remain visible, and a partial calculation is not presented as total product impact.

Mula is developing the free LCA Calculator with Studio Sejauh for supported estimates and a basic Calculation Summary.

Professional Impact Reports are a separate paid service with agreed scope, evidence review, interpretation, and report preparation.

AI may help read documents, structure information, or suggest mappings.

Reported figures come from defined methods, data your team has reviewed, and explicit rules. AI does not get to invent a missing number because a form was incomplete.

No. Mula can help organise evidence, identify gaps, and prepare information for buyers, markets, reports, or frameworks.

Compliance, certification, assurance, and regulatory responsibility remain with the relevant business and authorised bodies.

No. Most businesses do not have perfect data.

Start with what you already have.

A figure may be measured, calculated or estimated. Its supporting evidence is a separate question: a certificate, a document or the business’s own declaration. Mula keeps the source, method and gaps visible. Missing information is not zero.

Your business records remain your business records.

Mula structures and processes them to provide the service. Public sharing, partner access, research contributions, and other uses are separate decisions rather than automatic consequences of using the platform.

After your service ends, you can request a CSV export of component data within the export window in your agreement, normally 90 days. Our team issues the file. This export does not include passport pages or addresses, templates, theme settings, QR and hangtag assets, or report documents.

No. Your records are not added to any benchmark. If Mula offers one, it will ask your written permission first, under published terms.

Stopping renewal: your subscription continues until the paid period ends. After the 14-day grace window, passports show a neutral inactive page unless Passport Archive applies. Their addresses and printed QR codes remain valid.

Passport Archive: a separate paid service that keeps the last published versions of passports already published when the subscription ended readable, read only, for ten years from purchase, with renewal available. It does not include editing, new products, reports or API access.

Closing an account: a separate request handled by our team. Export and deletion follow your agreement and the privacy policy, including retention exceptions for published reports and passports covered by Passport Archive.

Direct Mula subscriptions, professional reports and scoped support have distinct terms. Shopify pricing, free allowances and AI limits have not been announced.

Digital Product Passports, professional Impact Reports, and guided support involve different work. We recommend the smallest useful scope rather than forcing every company into the same package.
